Graduate study emphasizes theological reflection, responsible application of Scripture, pastoral judgment, ethical decision-making, and the ability to provide Christian spiritual care within complex and diverse environments. The program emphasizes advanced ministry competency, theological integration, pastoral presence, ethical leadership, compassionate care, and responsible Christian chaplaincy practice. Students demonstrate graduate-level mastery and integration of the major areas of study through the Master of Divinity in Chaplaincy Final Comprehensive Examination.
