Program Overview

The Master of Arts in Christian Leadership is a graduate-level religious education program designed to develop advanced leadership capacity for individuals serving in churches, ministries, faith-based organizations, nonprofit environments, and other Christian leadership contexts. The program integrates biblical and theological study with contemporary leadership theory, organizational health, conflict resolution, and the examination of current issues affecting Christian leaders and organizations. Students engage the study of Spirit-formed leadership, contemporary approaches to leadership, current issues in leadership studies, effective conflict resolution, healthy organizations, advanced hermeneutics, and New Testament theology. Through these areas, students are challenged to evaluate leadership models, address complex organizational and interpersonal challenges, interpret Scripture responsibly, and develop leadership approaches that reflect Christian character, sound judgment, and organizational effectiveness. The program emphasizes graduate-level analysis, strategic thinking, biblical integration, ethical decision-making, conflict management, organizational leadership, and the ability to evaluate contemporary leadership challenges from a Christian perspective. Students demonstrate their integration and mastery of the major areas of study through the Master of Arts in Christian Leadership Final Comprehensive Examination.
