Program Overview

The Doctor of Philosophy in Christian Ethics & Management is an advanced religious education program designed for individuals seeking doctoral-level study of Christian ethical leadership, organizational management, human behavior, reconciliation, and biblically grounded decision-making. The program integrates Christian theology and biblical interpretation with the examination of organizational systems, business models, psychology, family relationships, leadership, and contemporary cultural concerns. Students engage the relationship between Christ and culture, leadership and reconciliation, innovative and global business models, principles of biblical interpretation, the psychology of learning, intelligence and language, and Christian counseling and family therapy. Through these interdisciplinary areas of study, students examine how ethical reasoning, human behavior, organizational structures, relationships, culture, and Christian theological commitments influence leadership and management decisions. The program emphasizes doctoral-level ethical analysis, organizational judgment, critical thinking, biblical and theological integration, leadership, interdisciplinary scholarship, and the evaluation of complex human and organizational concerns from a Christian worldview. The program culminates in doctoral research and a dissertation, through which students demonstrate their ability to investigate a significant issue related to Christian ethics and management, synthesize biblical and academic scholarship, construct defensible conclusions, and contribute meaningfully to Christian leadership, management, and organizational practice.
